Maloney Holds Census Town Hall

Congress Member Carolyn Maloney held a town hall on March 16th, “What the 2020 Census Means for New York.” The following speakers participated: Melva Miller, Association for a Better NY; Natalia Aristizabal, Make the Road NY; and Mayra Aldas-Deckert, NY Immigration Coalition. The event was held at Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens (21-12 30th Rd, LIC), in cooperation with Community Boards 1 and 2, Borough President Melinda Katz, NYS Senator Michael Gianaris, Assembly Members Catherine Nolan, Aravella Simotas and Brian Barnwell, Council Members Costa Constantinides and Jimmy Van Bramer, the NYC Office of the Census, Association for a Better NY, New York Immigration Coalition, and Make the Road NY.
