New York, NY - Today, Machinists Local District 15 endorsed Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney for re-election to represent New York’s 12th Congressional District.
“Throughout Congresswoman Maloney’s entire time in Congress, she has firmly stood on the side of unions, and now we are standing firmly by her side in her bid for re-election,” said Norm Shreve, Business Representative Machinists Union District 15. “Because Carolyn Maloney not only votes for pro-union legislation like the PRO Act, she has also created thousands of good union jobs for the machinists with the countless infrastructure projects she has shepherded through to completion. The 2nd Avenue Subway, Kosciuszko Bridge, and L train repairs all happened because of her and helped our members. We are proud to support a woman who has supported us for so many years.”
“I am deeply grateful for Machinists Local District 15 support in my campaign for re-election,” said Rep. Maloney. “We have been successful partners for the past 3 decades on even the most ambitious infrastructure projects. It’s no secret that New York City is a union City, and I am honored to have the Machinists on my side!”
