New York, NY - Today, Senator Brad Hoylman endorsed Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney for re-election at Penn South’s Sandbox Park. Penn South is a part of the newly redrawn NY-12 district.
“Since her earliest days in Congress, Carolyn Maloney has been a champion of progressive values — advocating for reproductive rights, advancing gun safety by taking on the NRA and fighting for NYC’s infrastructure needs through the expansion of the Second Avenue Subway. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she has helped bring in crucial funding to support our community’s response and recovery. I’m proud to endorse her for re-election this year,” said Sen. Hoylman.
“I am deeply grateful for the Senator’s support in my campaign for re-election,” said Rep. Maloney. “Brad and I have been partners in government, introducing at the State and Federal levels tougher gun safety reform laws, ensuring our constituents had the resources and help they needed throughout the pandemic, and standing up to the dangerous power plant proposal at Stuyvesant Town-Peter Cooper Village. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to doing more together to help our City recover from COVID-19.”
